World Championship Team Selected
Four more athletes named to the 2004 U.S. Olympic Team
Four more synchronized swimmers earned their tickets to Athens posting the top four scores at an intense evaluation last week in Santa Clara, CA. Sara Lowe, Becky Jasontek, Lauren McFall, and Stephanie Nesbitt joined teammates Anna Kozlova and Alison Bartosik who qualified their duet and became the first Olympians named in January. The six will compete in the World and Pan American Teams as well.
At the same evaluation, the 2003 World Championship Synchronized Swimming Team was selected. Joining Kozlova, Bartosik, Lowe, Jasontek, McFall, and Nesbitt were Erin Dobratz, Katie Norris, Kendra Zanotto and Mary Hofer. They will represent the United States against the world's best at the 2003 World Championships in Barcelona, July 13-19.
The team will then trim to nine eliminating Hofer to make up the 2003 Pan American Games Team. The group will compete at the 2003 Pan American Games in Santo Domingo, August 12-15.
