The North Zone mourns the loss of our Administrative Chair Marian Kretschmer. Marian was such a valuable person to the Zone and the sport in so many ways. She was a coach, National judge, mentor, held many positions within the organization throughout the years, and of course a champion Master swimmer. She will be deeply missed.

The North Zone would like to thank the Rocky Mountain Association and meet manager Myrna Hagedorn for running a great U.S. Junior Championship. Thanks to Illinois for hosting a HUGE Esynchro clinic. Thanks to Menomonee Falls for hosting the North Zone Championship.

Congratulations to our Zone Award winners: Athlete Victoria Downey of the Kansas City Sea Sprites; Coach Ilene Arends of the Shooting Stars; and Contributer Nan Zack of the Aqua Sprites.

We welcome Lisa Mooney to the Treasurer's position. Our past Treasurer, Amy McClintock, is now working in our national office. Good Luck to both of you!

Congratulations to all the North Zone Athletes who did so well this season. It was a pleasure to see those North Zone Club names in the finals of so many meets. Congratulations Coaches & Swimmers!
