Speedo Synchronized
Swimmer of the Quarter

Darcee Kinsley
Suncoast Waterworks
The personal and physical growth Darcee Kingsley has acquired from synchronized swimming has earned her the Speedo Swimmer of the Quarter. Kingsley, 18, has been a member of the Suncoast Waterworks Synchro Club for 11 years. Besides pursuing her athletic ambitions, she has served as President and Founder of the Young Democrats and has also participated in FCA, Drama, and Model U.N. On the academic side, she has taken numerous A.P. and honors courses as well as been a member of the National Honor Society.
Over the years, Kingsley has used athletics to grow as a person. Suncoast Waterworks Coach Susan Comerford, described her as "a tough cookie that turned out just about perfect."
This year, Kingsley has displayed team support by attending Junior Nationals as a volunteer coach for younger synchronized swimmers while being injured. She has also devoted much of her time to Friends of Synchro, to help aspiring swimmers.
As a competitive synchronized swimmer, she has been recognized with several distinctions such as being a member of the Florida Association Synchronized Swimming 2004 All Star Team and has also served as the South Zone Representative.
In the fall, Darcee hopes to continue her swimming at the University of Florida.
Congratulations to Darcee Kingsley, Speedo Synchro Swimmer of the Quarter.
