IN THE NEWS
EDUCATION CORNER Coaches College Registration for Coaches College is now available online. The educational event will take place at the Lake Placid, N.Y. Olympic Training Center, November 5-7. Don’t delay your registration and miss out on the 1st Lake Placid Coaches College! Registration is set at $250 per participant through October 4. After that date, the cost is $300 per participant. When you register, you will be asked if you need transportation from/to the Albany Airport and you will be asked for your arrival/departure time, so please have that information available. And remember that the shuttle will be scheduled based on everyone’s arrival/departure times and it is a two hour drive between the Albany airport and the Lake Placid OTC. The event will begin on Friday, November 5 at 6 p.m. and will conclude at noon on Sunday, November 7. The shuttle will not be making late pickups or early drop offs (so you will need to allow plenty of time to land and retrieve your bags and meet the shuttle in time to allow for the two hour drive). If you have any questions regarding anything about Coaches College, please contact Kevin in the national office. Information is also available on the website at: http://www.usasynchro.org/Education/Coaches_College.htm National Team Pipeline General Athletic Skills and Synchro Water Skills are available on the website at: http://www.usasynchro.org/Education/Athletes/Talent_ID__Testing.htm These are fundamental and progression skills leading up to the National Team Competencies.
